Tangerine were a simple folk quartet based out of France, distinguished by the luminous lead presence of Valery Btesh and the ornate flute work of Marc Donahue. With the potential of four, count 'em four acoustic guitars at work and equally layered vocal harmonies, you know what you can expect, and this is where the band's undoubtedly excelled. Discounting a few instrumentals, half of the songs are sung in their native tongue, and the other half in English, with uncommonly minimal intrusion from accents.
De L'Autre Cote de la Foret is another of the great unsungs. Though the album gets off to a decent if unremarkable start, we soon hit Btesh's "Meditations," which I'll go on record saying is one of the most beautiful songs I've yet come across in my explorations over the years under the broad prog umbrella, and that's simply not an overstatement. Picture Genesis circa Trespass transplanted to the rural countryside with a French Sandy Denny singing a melody that hypnotizes all in its path. If I need to say more, then as was once said elsewhere, "you'll never know."
Though obviously less ambitious, "Direction Sud" is another tune from this band that has stuck with me through the years, an acoustic pop tune with stalwart harmonies and a beguiling chorus. Past these, there are additional songs ("Liberte," "It's Ending," "Listen") with other delicious melodies that solidify this album as a must-track-down for the latent or not-so-latent folkies of the prog community.
Granted, as can be discerned from the songs in English and the general style of the band, Tangerine drew at least some influence from the West Coast psych-folk scene that permeated the late 60s. In fact, this often seems more like an album that would have been made in 1968-69, rather than 1975. Even so, this album is a far cry from the posturing, make-love-for-Jerry narcissism that signals hippiedom at its worst. Say what you want about the lyrics, Tangerine never sounded less than sincere in their delivery, and many of the songs have that introspective touch that makes them genuine in their ability to reach and touch the listener.

Teina Richardson was one of Jimmy Curtiss’ discoveries when he launched his Perception label in 1969, her music was described as “Psychedelic Soul”, but it’s safe to label it folk, a nice "change of pace" lp.
Here’s a snippet about her and the record from GGP:
Around the turn of the decade, Curtiss fell heavy for the Native American trip. Where his motivation came from is unclear. “His real name might be Curtiz or Cortez or something like that, because the rare photos of the man, that I've seen, point to a Latin-American or Spanish origin.” That dubious sleuthing aside, there just may’ve been some new world blood a’mingling with the old, cuz Jimmy turned out to be one helluva scout. His first discovery was Teina, a dark-skinned fox of indefinite ethnic descent and the treacley voice of a sure thing. Teina’s sole offering, Touched by the Sun, showcased the young beauty, decked out in beaded garb and cradling what appears to be a stuffed (maybe it’s just sleeping) eagle against a Santa Fe sunset backdrop. The music was smooth, vaguely psychedelic soul dealing with themes of abandonment, unfairness towards her people, etc.. As impressive as it was, the Teina LP was merely a warmup for the indigenous dirty bomb that Curtiss was about to drop on the handful of record-buying young people that actually followed Perception’s sporadic release schedule. When the sun rose on the morning of June 12, 1970 and record store clerks threw open their doors, the shelves were lined with shiny new copies of Custer Died For Your Sins by a real-life American native with the pretty-unhip name of Floyd Westerman.

The 1973 album by this New Zealand group was very much a folk-rocky relic of the late hippie era.
The briskly strummed guitars, ebullient vocal harmonies, and relentlessly sunny lyrical glow of some cuts are like those of guys who’ve taken Traffic‘s “You Can All Join In” as their manifesto. Because it’s all done without a pinch of irony, it’ll drive those with a limited taste for feel-good rock up the wall and out the door. If you do enjoy gung ho folk-rock with a can-do rural flavor, though, it’s well executed, but derivative. There are echoes of not only Traffic at their most pastoral, but also Crosby, Stills & Nash‘s harmonizing on songs like “Wooden Ships,” as well as (less expectedly) some of the cartwheeling constructions of Yes — a band that did have some folk-rock influences, though those haven’t been widely acknowledged. Medieval melodic influences also pop up, as do, perhaps, the very lightest shades of the folkiest moments
of the late-’60s Beatles.

This singular album by Hamburg based band THRICE MICE is a nice example of early Krautrock exhibiting influences by Blodwyn Pig and Curved Air, both bands they’re paying tribute to by cover versions added up on the CD re-release. After some local success and a gig on legendary Fehmarn festival in 1970 (where Jimi Hendrix gave his last concert) they disbanded in 1972 when Rainer von Gosen decided to leave. His brother Werner and Karl-Heinz Blumenberg continued their progressive jazz-rock style with the band ALTONA.Thrice Mice which grew up from a beat school band originally presented here a quite noteable and for those days very unique blend of jazz elements, influences from classical themes and heavy rock using some technical sound effects that bring HAWKWIND into one’s mind. Although the four compositions are basically rather melodic and straightforward they’re highly enriched by improvising solos, intricate dual sax playing and use of big band-alike brass. The classically inspired "Vivaldi" was quite a big success for them when they played it live (can be heard as well on the CD release). Each one of the other three tracks is based on either a particular theme or story. "Jo Joe" is about someone’s idiosyncratic philosophy, “Pancy Desiree” is inspired by Joachim Ringelnatz’s novel "Fancy Desire" and "Torekov" is telling the very personal experiences of some band members with a Finnish girl on a camp tour in Sweden.Overall this album is a quite unique and noteworthy one, certainly not to be considered essential but anyway good. Highly recommended to collectors of rare and obscure German progressive albums!

Early summer 1966, infected with Beatlemania, brothers Rainer and Werner v. Gosen decided to form their own Beat band. Born in Flensburg and raised in Hamburg they attended the Alexander-von-Humboldt grammar school in the suburb of Harburg. Both had previously taken piano lessons. Rainer took up the bass, Werner guitar and schoolmate Arno Bredehöft drums. The trio called themselves Thrice Mice and had ambitions of making it to the top which started well by successfully taking part in many of the "Battle Of The Beat Band" competitions.
In August they beat 6 other bands to win first prize in the Hamburg grammar school Beat-Band-Battle at Hamburg-Alsterdorf School. The newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt used the following headlines to report the event: "Beat Battle Too Loud For Music Teacher" and "Judge Sat Outside". The article from August 24th reported "ear numbing Beat Music, ear numbing applause, 7 Hamburg Beat Bands fought it out in the heat of the moment for the first prize. The Hall was boiling and only one person was left outside - the judge! It was just too loud for the music teacher who should have been a competent jury member, which he in fact was albeit from a distance. He sat on a bench in the gangway in front of the hall and listened from there. After 2 hours of noise the loudness ebbed and he announced the winners - Thrice Mice".
That Thrice Mice didn't even attend the host school and still won was a sign of their talent and ambition. The victory brought them recognition in the already growing Hamburg scene and was followed by ...

Their album was manufactured in Germany (and distributed there in addition to Denmark). Tommy Petersen was the leader of the group - he wrote the songs, provided the soul and blues flavoured vocals and played the lead instrument. Several tracks sound like a curious (and not very tasteful) cross between Atomic Rooster, Hansson & Karlsson and Tom Jones. It's generally considered not to rank among the best Danish albums!

Though we haven't been able to track down much bibliographical information on this late-60s bi-racial outfit, we think they were from Long Island, New York. From the liner notes on their LP we can also tell you Greg Weiss was the lead singer and was responsible for writing roughly half the material. The rest of the line up consisted of bassist Bill, guitarist Billy, drummer Joey and keyboard player Sal (great detail there).
Produced by Bernie Lawrence, the majority of 1970's "Toy Factory” found the band trying to fight their way through rather faceless MOR pop. Lead singer Greg Weiss had a decent voice, but on tracks such as "What Is Youth", "To Live or Die" and "Honey, Forever" he employed an irritating faux-English accent that recalled Davy Jones (he sounds like David Hemmings to me Bad Cat!!!). He also had an irritating habit of throwing mock sobs and groans into the mix ("When I'm with You" and "Honey Forever"). Strike three were the occasional French lyrics (don't pick on the French Bad Cat!!!) he tossed into the mix ("To Live or Die" and "Honey Forever"). Curiously, the band was at their best when they cut loose and go for a harder rock sound. In this case, the pseudo-psychedelic "No Rhyme To Orange" (sporting a nice fuzz guitar solo) and "Things" was a nifty slice of blue-eyed soul. "Summertime" also found the band turning in one of the weirdest George Gershwin covers we've ever heard (pretty decent guitar here too Bad Cat!!!). This one certainly won't change your life, but it's one of those period failures that's worth checking out.

"Team Dokus was formed in 1968 after I had been squeezed out of another one-LP blues/progressive/rock super(?)group called Room (the Deram release Pre-Flight). The name came from my nickname at the time given to me by Stephen. It was better than Bob. The members of Team Dokus at the time of the recording were Roger 'Dokus' Hope (vocals), Fred Fry (lead guitar), Stephen Hall (2nd lead & rhythm guitar), Terry Lowe (bass), Phil Bridle (keyboards) and Royston Stockley (percussion).
The album was recorded by Team Dokus in 1971 for the Sphere record label, a subsidiary of CBS. On the day of the recording, both Terry and I were suffering from one of the worst bouts of flu in our lives, and were only there because of the drugs and rum that the others had pumped into us. On top of that, we had played the Temple in Wardour Street the night before (and blown Nazareth off stage), and were going on to play Potters Bar Youth Club with Genesis (early days) the next night. That's explains why the vocals on the recording are so bad. They were meant to have been re-recorded later but it never happened. There were also harmonies recorded for '50 Million Megaton Sunset', 'On The Way Down', 'Magic Castle' and 'Feel A Little Higher' ('Big Red Beast' was actually called 'Magic Castle' and 'Feel Your Fire' was called 'Feel A Little Higher'). All songs were essentially a collaborative effort with the rest of the band of songs that I wrote and arranged, except for 'Magic Castle' - I arranged that song, but Terry came up with the main riff.
We also recorded a single in London in 1971, with shortened versions of 'Tomorrow May Not Come' and '50 Million Megaton Sunset', as well as an EP (I can't remember the contents of this). We made it to the final six in the Melody Maker Rock Contest finals at the Roundhouse in the same year, but were not placed in the top three as we already had signed up with Sphere Records - with the prizes for the top three being recording contracts, we were placed fourth, I believe. However, the band was given a special commendation by John Peel, and Terry was presented with a new Fender bass guitar for his efforts.
Team Dokus split shortly after recording the album, which is why I guess it wasn't released at the time."

The members of this band are presently unknown but the reissue (Tenth Planet TP 007 / 1994) is from a 1969 acetate, of which only one copy is known to exist. Essentially a concept album based on the theme of nuclear destruction it relates the tale of World War 3 and life after a nuclear holocaust. The music is lightish progressive rock with the opener, Fifty Million Megaton Sunset, the highlight musically and lyrically. This cut had previously been included on Psychedelic Salvage Co. Vol. 2 (LP & CD) and both Psychedelia, Vol. 3 (LP) and Hen's Teeth, Vol. 3 (CD) include the un-abbreviated version. Side one closes with another gem, the doom-laden, gently flowing and melancholic On The Way Down. Side two opens with Visions, a pretty standard progressive rock offering, but Tomorrow May Not Come, which had previously got an airing on Psychedelic Salvage Co. Vol. 1 (LP & CD), has some good extended instrumental pieces and Big Red Beast featured some promising guitar and vocals, but the other real gem was Feel Your Fire, a very effective blend of vocals, catchy drumming, guitar and keyboards which previews the finale, a reprise of Fifty Million Megaton Sunset. A competent quasi-psychedelic band from the Los Angeles area. They evolved out of Hardtimes which had included Byrom and Richardson. The opening track to their debut album, Tripping Into Sunshine, starts with a typical psychedelic introduction, although the remainder of Side One is comprised of rather mundane rock material. However, the standard improves on Side Two, particularly with I Really Love You and the closing track Take Me Along. Three of their 45 tracks are taken from this album. The two opening tracks on their second LP released as LBS 83232 in the UK, were featured on the Gutbucket sampler helping to give the band international exposure, which they failed to exploit. Their blues influence is evident on tracks like Lazy Day Blues, while See Me As I Am, Trust In Men Everywhere and Flowers are examples of their attempts to get to grips with the predominant psychedelic influences of the time. The group made considerable use of phasing techniques, Their second album was the better of the two. The 'A' side to the second 45 is not on the album - it's a catchy pop-rock ditty with some tasty guitar. Both Byrom and St. Nicholas later played with Steppenwolf and in 1973 Couchois and Byrom formed Ratchell.

Smooth Ball, their second album, featuring new bassist Richard Tepp is heavier, more psychedelic, features longer tracks and shows a more technically competent band who make full use of the studio.
The twin guitars of William Richardson and Larry Byrom are center stage on "Smooth Ball" and the result is quite pleasing to the ear.The centerpiece of "Smooth Ball" is the 10 minute tour-de-force "Morning Come" featuring Byrom at his finest. Their blues influence is evident on tracks like "Lazy Day Blues", while "See Me As I Am", "Trust In Men Everywhere" and "Flowers" are examples of their attempts to get to grips with the predominant psychedelic influences of the time.

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio (and you thought Devo, The Raspberries and Rachel Sweet were the city's only music exports ...), this outfit's always had a special place in our hearts. As The Tiffany Shade, singer/guitarist Michael Barnes, rhythm guitarist Bob Leonard, bassist Rob Murphy and drummer Tom Schuster deserve plenty of credit, if for no other reason than the fact they managed to turn in one of the year's most impressive set's of English-inspired psychedelia. Not impressed? Imagine how hard it is to sound English when you're from Cleveland !!! With Barnes and Leonard responsible for the bulk of the material ("Come Softly To Me" being the lone non-original), 1969's "The Tiffany Shade" served up an enjoyable blend incorporating garage, psychedelic, pop and even Vaunderville ("A Very Grand Love"). While it may not have been cutting edge in terms of originality, full of fuzz guitar, nifty harmonies and shimmering melodies ("Come Softly To Me"), you could've done far worse in terms of purchases. Personal favorites included "the dreamy "No Reality" and the feedback drenched rocker "One Good Reason". Unfortunately, backed by Mainstream's standard marketing support (e.g. none), the set vanished without a trace).

The band called Twentieth Century Zoo hailed from the same Arizona desert land that spawned Phil and the Frantics, Kennelmus, and Alice Cooper's original band, the Spiders. This 'shroom fest includes their lone album for Vault, rare early singles (nice versions of "Tossin' and Turnin'" and the early version of "Love in Your Face"), and the requisite unissued demos, all recorded between 1966 to 1968. Another great psychedelic chunk of garage band gets trippy, reissued back from obscurity.

Hailing from the same gila monster-infested Arizona desert wilderness that produced an unlikely harvest of fertile bands (Alice Cooper's Spiders, Kennelmus, Phil & The Frantics) the Twentieth Century Zoo were the paradigm of what was happening to music as 1966 blossomed into 1967-68. These Phoenix shroom-heads stirred the savage fuzzback-laced sounds of the garage generation into the brain-baking trippiness of the emerging SF ballroom scene and made a concoction all their own. Includes the entire scarce Vault-label album, obscenely rare early single sides, unissued cuts and more!

Recorded in Los Angeles, this is a fair album. It's predominantly bluesy with a splattering of sound effects. The 'A' side to their first 45 was re-recorded when they signed to Vault in 1969. Their last, Only Thing That's Wrong is a non-LP country rocker. Thought to be a Los Angeles band they were actually from Phoenix, Arizona and were known until late 1967 as the Bittersweets, releasing three locally successful and now sought-after 45s before they added Ladd (from the Laser Beats) to the line-up and changed their name. Bennett was drafted late 1967 and replaced by Randy Wells (ex-Sounds Incorporated/Solid Ground). The Sundazed EP features three of the four Caz 45 tracks - Clean Old Man is missing for reasons unknown. Still, a welcome reissue and a chance to sample their earlier rampant fuzz-heavy-garage sounds that were somewhat diluted by the time of the album. The Sundazed CD is recommended. "I'm looking somewhere for a new dimension, I'm leaving it all so far behind, Don't waste any time girl, step inside my mind...I'm five years ahead of my time". From the opening lines of The Third Bardo's awesome garage psych single of 1967, one knew trouble was brewing inside the youth of America. The barriers that seperated them from their parents generation couldn't have been pulled further apart. Later in the song Jeff Monn sings, "I'm doing exactly what I want to, Society can't play with my mind"- this is a true wake up call that these guys were out-a-site and from outer space. "Five Years..." is one of the classic cuts that emerged out of the underground 60's. Five Years ahead? Hell, was this really recorded in 1967? This is a brilliant garage psych burner and no doubt most people will only know the band through this one song. However, as good as this track is, they also cut a handful of others that were equally as good as their first nugget. Thanks to Sundazed for unearthing these lost tracks and giving them the spotlight they so deserve, we are now re-introduced to this bloody excellent NYC band. Vocals that shriek, guitars that glide in and out of "another dimension" and a bass line that pulsates like a heartbeat, The Third Bardo had it all and then in a flash, they were gone. Their cover of Rusty Evans' (from The Deep) "Rainbow Life" is just as awesome as their first single. It was in fact originally released as the B-Side to "Five Years". Imagine, being a teenager in 1967 and coming home with this 45! Woah! It must have blown people away for better or worse. Also worth mentioning is the 1980's Rhode Island band Plan 9 who do a killer version of "Five Years Ahead of My Time". ~ Reviewed by BlueMagoo - 20th September 2002

Their name, chosen by lead singer Jeffrey Monn and extracted from the 'The Tibetan Book of the Dead', refers to a "return to reality". The inclusion of I'm Five Years Ahead Of My Time on Pebbles, Vol. 3 (LP) has made it something of a classic among collectors of psychedelic punk. Deservedly so in view of its haunting intro and fine fuzztone guitar work. Subsequently it has resurfaced on other compilations:- Born Bad (The Songs The Cramps Taught Us), Songs We Taught The Cramps, Nuggets Box (4-CD), Pebbles Vol. 3 (CD), Trash Box (5-CD) and Best of Pebbles, Vol.1 (LP & CD). Rusty Evans of The Deep/Freak Scene wrote the 45 for The Third Bardo along with songwriter Victoria Pike, who was married to The Third Bardo's producer Teddy Randazzo (of Roulette Records) at the time. The excellent flip side of the 45 can also be heard on Vile Vinyl, Vol.2 (LP) and Magic Carpet Ride (LP) whilst another version of it appears on Freak Scene's Psychedelic Psoul LP. If that wasn't enough, David Walters (author of the excellent "Children of Nuggets" book) has pointed out that the version of My Rainbow Life on Glimpses, Vol. 4 (LP) is an acetate version, 20 seconds shorter than the final single and with a different mix! Both sides of the 45 can also be now heard on Psychedelic Microdots Of The Sixties, Vol. 3 (CD). In the early seventies, their lead singer Neufeld released an album under another pseudonym, Chris Moon. In the 1980s The Nomads did a fine cover version of I'm Five Years Ahead Of My Time and Kenne Highland's Majestic Gizmos reworked it into He's Five Beers Ahead Of Your Time (!) on the LP of that name. In 1999, Rusty Evans has helped re-record I'm Five Years Ahead Of My Time, My Rainbow Life and a number of other tracks with his son's band Kaos. Although currently unreleased, the new recordings are great, capturing the spirit of the originals. Rusty may also be writing some new material for The Third Bardo themselves, who played live again on May 16th 1999 with a line-up of Jeff Moon aka Neufeld, Damian Kelly and Ricky GoldClang from the original band. As for former drummer Bruce Ginsburg, his whereabouts are unknown - somewhere in California, whilst Richie Seslowe sadly died of a drug overdose in the eighties.

This was one of the first groups to emerge from the new Italian rock scene. They formed in London in 1967 on the initiative of pop singer Ricky Maiocchi (ex-Camaleonti) who needed a new backing group. Many British beat bands moved to Italy in the late sixties in search of gigs, among them The Sorrows, The Primitives and The Talismen. Most of the original Trip members were also English, including (future Deep Purple axeman) Ritchie Blackmore, who eventually became homesick and returned to England. When Joe Vescovi was recruited in 1969, he quickly became the leader of the group, updating their sound with the current (pioneering) Anglo-American attempts to expand the rock format, blending it together with the inspiration and composing techniques of 17th and 19th century classical music.
On their eponymous first album, The Trip almost sounded like a cross between Vanilla Fudge, The Nice and Quatermass (another group that had a great deal of influence on the early Italian rock scene; they released their only album in 1970). "Prologo" almost pastiched the organ work of Mark Stein on Vanilla Fudge's first album. Other enlightening features were Billy Gray's Blackmoresque guitar parts and Joe Vescovi's distinctive, high-pitched voice. The album showed great promise, but didn't quite succeed in creating an integrated group sound. Organ parts of great emotional intensity were sometimes followed by almost banal vocal arrangements in a more pop tradition.
However, better things were soon to come when The Trip released their masterpiece, "Caronte" in 1971. The powerful interplay between Gray and Vescovi is excellent throughout the album. If the "dream collaboration" between Jimi Hendrix and Keith Emerson had ever happened, then I imagine it would have sounded close to this! The finest example of this is on "Two Brothers", which merged psychedelic, heavy and classical flavours of rock. By now, Vescovi could afford a mellotron, offering mellow string textures on the track, "Little Janie". The excellent rhythm section throughout the album, courtesy of Andersen and Sinnone, was also notable. Speaking of Jimi Hendrix, the album also included the mournful requiem "Ode a J.Hendrix".

The group was formed in 1967 and signed to Decca in England. Their first album was not a success, but their second, the live Undead (1968) containing "I'm Going Home," a six-minute blues workout by the fleet-fingered Alvin, hit the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. Stonedhenge (1969) hit the U.K. Top Ten in early 1969. Ten Years After's U.S. breakthrough came as a result of their appearance at Woodstock, at which they played a nine-minute version of "I'm Going Home." Their next album, Ssssh, reached the U.S. Top 20, and Cricklewood Green, containing the hit single "Love Like a Man," reached number four. Watt completed the group's Decca contract, after which they signed with Columbia and moved in a more mainstream pop direction, typified by the gold-selling 1971 album A Space in Time and its Top 40 single "I'd Love to Change the World." Subsequent efforts in that direction were less successful, however, and Ten Years After split up after the release of Positive Vibrations in 1974. They reunited in 1988 for concerts in Europe and recorded their first new album in 15 years, About Time, in 1989 before disbanding once again. In 2001, Ric Lee was preparing the back catalog for rerelease when he discoverd the Live at the Fillmore East 1970 tapes. He approached Alvin about getting back together to promote the lost album, but Alvin Lee declined. The rest of the band was up for it, though, and together with guitarist Joe Gooch, Ten Years After started touring again. Often touted as the Japanese Black Sabbath by blowhards and those who’ve not actually heard the music, the excellently named Too Much hailed from the large city port of Kobe, where the band members grew up sucking in all kinds of western influences from the LPs and 7” singles that came in on the boats.One of the band – guitarist Junio Nakahara – had spent the late ‘60s in the blues group The Helpful Soul, whose sole LP features in this book’s Top 50 on account of its deeply inspired 10-minutes plus plodathon ‘Peace For Fools’.However, as its audience could never have perceived The Helpful Soul as anything more than another Group Sounds act, guitarist Nakahara decided to jump on the burgeoning New Rock bandwagon by forming the more appropriately named Too Much.Nakahara’s inspiration came from the TOO MUCH concert that The Helpful Soul played with the newly-formed Blues Creation, in Kyoto at the end of February 1970.The hippy phrase ‘too much’ was already utterly cliched in the West by this time, but it was iconic and easily pronounceable to Japanese.In the process, Nakahara hooked up with hard rock singer Juni Lush, changed his own name to the more substantially New Rock-sounding Tsomu Ogawa(!), and dragged high school mates Hideya Kobayashi and Masayuki Aoki along as the rhythm section.They signed a deal with Atlantic Records in the summer of 1970, and wrote a whole slew of mindless proto-metal anthems, including the excellent ‘Grease It Out’, ‘Love Is You’ and ‘Gonna Take You’.These were duly recorded and sounded mindlessly, monolithically, perfectly suited to the lowbrow audience Too Much was aiming to please.Unfortunately, the Atlantic businessmen saw in the be-afro’d Juni Lush another potential star in the mould of Flower Travellin’ Band’s Joe Yamanaka, and they pressured the band into adding several mawkishly sentimetal ballads to the debut LP in order to widen their audience.The results were disastrous. No one needed yet another version of Bobby Dylan’s ‘I Shall Be Released’, particularly the Nipponashville abortion that Too Much delivered. Hey, but neither did they require ‘Song For My Lady’, the arduously phlegmatic 12-minute album closer which arrived replete with megastring sections, Michel LaGrande pianos, Moody Blues flute solos and nere a six-string razor in sight.Too Much was just not enough, and they split soon after the album was released...

Tobruk was formed by some Brazilian guys living in North America, and this wonderful album got released in 1972 on the Cash Box label (sometimes you can see the album named as if Cash Box was its title).
It's a pretty good psychedelic album with an astounding, original sound based in fuzz, organ, psychedelic effects and an eerie atmosphere. It's completely sung in English as well.
500 copies vinyl reissue, with remastered sound.
